Beer Truck Explodes On Cross-Bronx Expressway

NEW YORK -- A truck driver narrowly escaped from a fiery crash on the Cross-Bronx Expressway Wednesday morning.

Around 4 a.m. a truck carrying cases of beer exploded on the eastbound Cross-Bronx near Rosedale Avenue.

The driver got out with only minor injuries.

The eastbound Cross-Bronx was closed and that caused major delays for the morning rush.
