EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- An overturned tanker truck was still causing traffic headaches Thursday evening for fans heading to tonight's Bruce Springsteen concert at Giants Stadium.New Jersey Turnpike spokesman Joe Orlando said the exits at 16W from the turnpike remain closed because the tanker is leaking propane. He says crews won't be attempting to move the truck until after the concert.Stadium officials said the show's 7:30 p.m. start time would not be changed, but that Springsteen generally takes the stage at about 8:30.
Orlando said motorists using the turnpike have been able to get to the stadium by heading to exit 18W, where they're being directed to ramps leading to the stadium.Orlando also said motorists on Route 3 have been facing heavy traffic by the stadium. He said the only access at 16W is for drivers going onto the turnpike's southbound lanes. Goddesses: Attractive Female Olympians Classic Beauties: How They Aged Great Olympians: Where Are They Now?
