Raw Video: SceneGranger was rushed to the hospital Sunday in critical condition. She was stabbed in the chest by a man on a bicycle, who then rode off, police said. When 46-year-old Elie Granger left the stationhouse Tuesday night charged with attempted murder he said, "I hope you all do some real investigations."Granger is not just wanted in the stabbing of 37-year-old Eduarda Oliva in front of her daughter Sunday near the Queensboro Bridge, police sources told News 4 New York.Police said Granger also served nine years in prison for several midtown stabbings of pedestrians in the 1990s. Even before that, he was charged with the 1993 assault of City Councilman Andrew Eristoff who had asked Granger to ride his bicycle on the street instead of on the sidewalk.Earlier in the day, the NYPD police commissioner, Ray Kelly, said he doubted if Oliva knew Granger."The suspect was involved, we believe, in a similar case about 14 years ago," he said. "Right now, it doesn't appear he knew the victim."Police said Oliva's attacker apparently waited until an ambulance left the area before pouncing. The attack was caught on video, officers said.Oliva's husband and son were returning from a trip out of the country when the incident occurred.
