TRANSIT ALERT: Limited Long Beach Branch Service Restored

NEW YORK -- Limited service is being restored on the Long Beach Branch in both directions. Service was previously suspended due to a derailment in the Long Beach Yard, the MTA reported.

No injuries have been reported.

As an alternative, customers were advised to take the Babylon Branch trains to Rockville Centre and take N-15 bus to Long Beach.
