Wall Of Vacant Brooklyn Building Collapses, Fire Officials Say

NEW YORK -- A wall of a vacant, four-story apartment building in Brooklyn collapsed Thursday, and firefighters rushed to the scene to make sure nobody was injured and that the neighboring buildings were not in danger.Firefighters said so-far there are no reports that anyone was injured in the collapse, which happened around 9:30 a.m. at a building on Franklin Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.Dozens of firefighters responded to the scene to make sure the surrounding structures were not affected by the collapse.
