NEW YORK -- A female pedestrian was struck and killed early Wednesday by a private sanitation truck, police said.The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at West 50th Street and Seventh Avenue in Midtown.Police said the truck’s driver stayed at the scene and it is unlikely charges will be filed.
