Man Stabbed In Fight Near Chelsea Nightclub

NEW YORK -- A fight near a Manhattan nightclub left a man with multiple stab wounds early Saturday morning, police said.The 25-year-old victim is in stable condition at St. Vincent's hospital, police said.He was wounded around 4 a.m. in the area of Fusion 215, four-floor lounge and dance club in Chelsea.
General manager Cristella Plaza said the dispute broke out among a group of people who been turned away from the club earlier because they didn't meet its dress code.It calls for collared shirts and bans athletic shoes, construction boots and baseball caps. New York nightspots have been under pressure about security in the last two years.
