2 Arrested In Drano Bomb Prank

NEW YORK -- Two 13 year-old boys were arrested Thursday evening and charged with assault and reckless endangerment in connection with an apparent prank that left seven people with minor chemical burns.Five students and two adults were treated for chemical burns Wednesday afternoon when a bottle full of Drano exploded.The explosion occured in the middle of the street at 204th Street and 10th Avenue, in the Inwood section of Upper Manhattan.
Fire officials said that children were playing with firecrackers and Drano in the middle of the street. The Drano exploded and splashed on the children and two adults.All seven injured were treated at the scene.
